The University’s ground-breaking £15 million Media Factory was officially opened on 24 January by broadcaster, writer and UCLan Honorary Fellow Fiona Armstrong.
James Rice and myself were given the task of filming the live event as a two man documentary team and then eventually editing the footage to a short deadline. This included editing high quality motion graphics and colourising.

The University is in the heart of the UK’s newest city, Preston, and is a key element in the shaping of this exciting city’s bright future.
It has invested £60m on new campus developments – including the £15.3m ‘media factory’ to aid work in art, design and performing arts plus help graduates get a helping hand in business.
Having used many of its facilities I was more than happy to work on this project!
